Terman’s Special Day Class is an inclusion-based program in which the students work in the classroom towards appropriate core academic and social goals while mainstreaming for electives and select academic classes. The students in the SDC are predominantly labeled as ASD (on the Autism Spectrum). All students have IEPs (Individualized Education Plans), work to prep and serve Tasty Treats Café (a cafe for the Terman staff) and participate in other vocational activities in addition to core academics.
